PrimaSELECT Ultem 9085 filament offers high impact resistance, strength and durability

PrimaSELECT PEI filament has unique properties because it does not come into contact with water during the manufacturing process and is packaged directly in a vacuum package. These properties make PrimaCreator PEI filament particularly suitable for use in FDM and FFF 3D printers. Ultem 3D printing material has excellent adhesion between layers which results in a great improvement in impact resistance, strength and durability. It offers high performance throughout the entire 3D printing process.

Successfully 3D printed PEI Ultem filament

To make a successful PEI 3D print there are a few things to keep in mind. Your 3D printer must have the performance necessary to meet the needs of PEI filaments. The material should be 3D printed with a nozzle temperature of 355-390°C. The heated bed should be set at 120-160°C and it is important to have a heated chamber. Also make sure that your 3D printer is placed in a room where there are almost no drafts and temperature changes.

PEI with good adhesion to the printing platform

PEI is best printed on a PEI sheet at a print speed of 15-30 mm/s.
