UNSET filaments are made from excess materials created during production or filaments that for one reason or another do not meet the original standards (e.g. a slightly different color shade than intended). All UNSET filaments have the perfect diameter and I'm from same quality like other PLA filaments.

A special feature of UNSET is also its single color , which depends on the color ratio of the original materials. It can be a slightly different shade of any color in our range, so they're the perfect choice for those who don't care what colors they create with or for those who like surprises.

UNSET colors are not the colors we sell as standard colors in our catalogue. The filament is made to a perfect diameter and quality, but it may come out of production with a different blend in coloring. You won't know what kind of color you get, it could be a different shade of orange or black or yellow or maybe something else. So it's perfect for those users who don't care what colors they will print in.

PLA is the best-known type of 3D filament, probably because it's one of the easiest 3D filaments to print and doesn't warp easily, so it doesn't require a heatbed (although it certainly helps to heat it up). Another benefit of using PLA is that it is considered an odorless filament and is more environmentally friendly than many other 3D printer filaments.

So it looks like a perfect 3D filament but just like any other plastic, it has some drawbacks; PLA material has low temperature resistance and will begin to lose mechanical strength at temperatures above 60°C. It's also important to remember that this filament is fragile, so avoid creating 3D models in PLA that could be bent, twisted, or could fall out repeatedly. Rather use it to make 3D models such as decorations, low-wear toys, prototype parts, and containers.

Even though our PLA filament is made from materials that are safe to be used with food, we do not recommend you drink or eat frequently while using your 3D prints, because bacteria can build up over time.
