Modular design

Large work space

Snapmaker 2.0 has three models: A150, A250 and A350. You can make large prototypes or multiple smaller objects in one go. The A350 provides the largest build volume, measuring 320 x 350 x 330mm.

As an innovative Snapmaker owner, you can further enhance your creativity with a wide variety of add-ons to customize your Snapmaker 2.0. For a higher level of applications, we will soon have containers, lights, a hand wheel, an emergency stop button and a camera available for pre-order!

Powerful controller

Snapmaker 2.0 can support various tool heads, add-ons, linear modules and more using just one controller. A big reason we can do this is that we have innovatively adopted Controlled Area Network (CAN) bus expansion, a technology widely used in automotive automation. The controller has been updated with universal ports, multiport adapters and a CAN hub for adding additional CAN-bus ports.

Future expansions

Snapmaker 2.0 is modular and can be transformed into different machines with numerous possibilities. It can be upgraded with the upcoming more powerful laser module, rotary module (applicable to A250, A350), longer linear module and even third-party spindle compatibility package! Our goal is to bring modularity to a machine so compact yet complete that your investment is worth it.

3-in-1 software

Our 3-in-1 software is tailor-made for your Snapmaker machines. A single and powerful software for all your activities. It's been iterated through 18 releases over the last year and a half, adding features like print/engrave/cut/carve multiple patterns, SVG editing, emboss carving, and multiple language support. Using rapid iterations, we've included many popular requests from our community.

Wi-Fi connectivity

With Wi-Fi function and USB port, you can connect your Snapmaker 2.0 to any setup for your convenience. You can upload designs via Wi-Fi or USB flash drive and print at the touch of a button. Additionally, you can update the firmware directly via Wi-Fi.

Intelligent touch screen

Traditionally, machines such as 3D printers, laser cutters and CNC routers did not pay enough attention to the HMI (Human Machine Interface). Snapmaker 2.0 features an intelligent touchscreen that streamlines the workflow of your daily projects, allowing you to manage your most-used tasks right from the touchscreen. Similar to a smartphone, this 5-inch mobile touchscreen (720 x 1280 pixels) is equipped with a 1.1 GHz Quad Core A7 CPU, running on Android OS. providing a smooth and fast interface.

You no longer have to worry about power outages. Snapmaker 2.0 can automatically detect power loss and then picks up exactly where it left off. You can recover any project and get perfect printing/engraving/cutting/carving results every time.

For Snapmaker 2.0, we pushed the boundaries of all-metal design even further. Both the controller board and power adapter now use aluminum alloy housings for better heat dissipation; The original POM rollers are upgraded to steel rollers to offer greater load capacity and rigidity.
