MetalFuse offers a complete solution, consisting of an indirect metal 3D printing process combined with a special edition of ideaMaker compatible with MIM equipment. With this solution, MetalFuse's advantages include low overhead costs and the ability to run batch production. MetalFuse saves more energy and is more environmentally friendly than processes like CNC and SLM (Selective Laser Melting).

Highlights:
Huge construction area
Improved print density
Intuitive one-click interface
Eco-sustainable production

The Raise3D MetalFuse system consists of the Forge1 desktop metal 3D printer, the D200-E catalytic debinding furnace, the S200-C sintering furnace, and the ideaMaker Metal slicer. It is compatible with BASF Forward AM's Ultrafuse® metal filaments. The primary applications for metal components produced with FFF 3D printing are tools, jigs and fixtures, functional parts and prototypes, and small-batch production.

New technology, a leap in efficiency

MetalFuse uses the catalytic debinding process, which allows for a 60% reduction in processing times and an increase in the density of the piece up to 97% compared to the density of wrought iron.

Specialized slicing software

A special edition of ideaMaker offers models optimized for this type of printing, taking into account the sintering and debinding process that can be combined with MetalFuse. This special edition of ideaMaker also features a simpler slicing process.

Adopt a proven process

The catalytic debinding furnace (D200-E) and the sintering furnace (S200-C) are used for the post-processing of the “Green Parts”, similar to the process developed based on BASF’s know-how from metal injection molding (MIM).

Advantages of Raise3D MetalFuse over other existing FFF metal printing solutions

Catalytic debinding with oxalic acid is a safe and environmentally friendly process. Furthermore, according to Raise3D's internal tests, catalytic debinding allows for a 60% reduction in debinding time and an increase in part density of up to 98% compared to wrought iron.

High-quality metal filament from BASF

By using BASF Forward AM’s Ultrafuse 316L and Ultrafuse 17-4 PH metal filaments, MetalFuse is able to ensure improved print repeatability and a higher throughput rate.
