3D print strong, heat-resistant objects with Glossy PLA

Glossy PLA is a new type of PLA that is much stronger than regular PLA and has heat resistance up to 75°C. This means you can use it for mechanical parts. For example, you can use 3D printed parts in a hot car during the summer without the risk of the 3D print becoming soft.

How to 3D print glossy PLA

Glossy PLA is used in the same way as regular PLA, but in a slightly higher temperature range. The temperature of your 3D print should be between 210 and 230°C (typical is 220°C). For best results, the filament should be used with a heated print bed. Depending on the size of your 3D print, you can use it in a range of 20 to 90°C (typical temperature is 60°C). For normal 3D prints set the print speed to 40-60 mm/s.

We recommend using PrimaFIX on the build surface for better adhesion and to avoid warping.
