Spectrum PP is a new material based on an unfilled polypropylene copolymer. It features good mechanical properties, exceptional chemical resistance, and low density. Our material does not require a heated print chamber for printing and offers improved layer adhesion, thus reducing the anisotropy of the final part. For pure material, a PP print bed is recommended. Its distinctive feature is low moisture absorption, down to 0.3%.
Furthermore, PP exhibits high flexibility (elongation at break - 500%) and high impact resistance, as well as a low moment of inertia compared to metal parts. PP also has good chemical, thermal, and electrical resistance. PP achieves relatively high resistance to thermal aging and good tribological properties, including dry friction conditions, such as in plain bearings. PP's excellent mechanical properties allow it to be used in a wide range of applications.

To achieve the excellent technical properties of Spectrum PP, it is necessary to follow the basic storage rules for these materials (in a dry, dark place with humidity below 15%). To achieve the best possible parameters for the printed object, it is recommended to dry the material before processing.
Tip: We recommend printing using a heated chamber. For better adhesion, use Magigoo PP.
