Threaded inserts for your 3D printing parts

Ruthex thread nuts can subsequently be inserted into parts of 3D printers, for example, Anycubic, Creality or Prusa using heat or ultrasound. Using heat from a soldering iron or ultrasound, press-fit nuts are simply embedded into a blind or through hole.

Firm hold with ease of use

Thanks to the geometry of the threaded sleeve, it remains securely in the molded part. The knurled nuts in the opposite spiral shape ensure a high balanced tightening and loosening torque as well as a high clamping force. The guide made insertion much easier.

Stable and durable threads

Internally threaded inserts are made of the highest quality brass, which ensures optimal corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity. This means that each press nut can be used for a long time and is easy to use. Reusability of the screw threads is also possible by carefully removing them from the molded part when they are no longer needed.

Suitable for various plastics

The inserts are designed for all thermoplastic materials. Knurled nuts hold for example PLA, PETG, ABS, PPS, PP and many others. As soon as the plastic part around the brass bush cools and hardens again, the internally threaded bush is firmly anchored.

Practical set of threaded inserts

The Ruthex RX-M8x12.7 thread insert set consists of 20 press nuts with M8 internal thread and a length of 12.7 mm. Threaded sleeves can be inserted by ultrasonication and hot embedding.
