The PrimaCreator Flexplate is the upgrade your printer deserves. With its powder-coated PEI coating, it's the perfect surface to print on, highly durable and easy to handle. Once your model is finished printing, you can easily remove it from the plate and continue on with your next project.

Coated in PEI

PrimaCreator's PEI Ultem (polyetherimide) is a reusable and relatively maintenance-free print surface suitable for both ABS (with a heated bed) and PLA (hot or cold); other materials such as metal, wood, PETG, ABS+, and many others also work well. No additional adhesives such as glue or tape are required. PEI is attractive because it requires no surface preparation, making it convenient to use. Furthermore, printing on PEI requires no supports, as the parts adhere directly to the surface without any problems.

How to use

Attach the build plate to the print surface with the PEI side facing up. This is easy to do thanks to the magnets on the build plate. No adhesives are needed, but if you plan to print something large or for an extended period, we recommend using PrimaFix adhesive stick, which will make the pieces even more sticky and easier to remove once printing is complete. Once printing is complete, let the build plate cool, remove it, and gently bend it. You can then detach the model from the build plate.

Before each print, clean the PEI surface with 70-91% isopropyl alcohol to remove any grease or other residue that may have accumulated on the surface. This will significantly improve surface adhesion. Use acetone, isopropyl alcohol, methylated spirits, or soap to clean the PEI after use.
