Panchroma™ PLA Matte is a new generation bioplastic PLA filament designed to offer matte, clean and professional prints, with the same ease of use as standard PLA but with significantly superior aesthetic results. It is the evolution of the famous PolyTerra™ PLA: same formulation, same colors and same print quality, with a new name and updated packaging.
Product Description
The Panchroma™ PLA Matte series combines PLA and organic mineral fillers to reduce plastic usage and improve surface finish, generating prints with a soft, matte, and low-reflectivity texture. Standard Panchroma Matte colors are vibrant and rich (Charcoal Black, Cotton White, Forest Green, Fossil Grey, Sapphire Blue, Lava Red, etc.), ideal for models that need to grab attention while maintaining an elegant, "matte" look.
The material is very easy to handle: it behaves like a "plug & play" PLA, with a wide temperature window and excellent compatibility with most 1.75mm FDM filament printers. Thanks to its matte finish, layer lines are less visible compared to a glossy PLA, reducing the need for post-processing on many projects.
Main Features
- Matte finish: smooth, matte surface that minimizes reflections and masks layer lines, ideal for aesthetic prototypes and decorative objects.
- Vibrant colors: wide range of rich and saturated matte shades (Charcoal Black, Cotton White, Forest Green, Fossil Grey, Sapphire Blue, Lava Red, etc.).
- Easy to print: designed for ease of use, high print quality, and reliable results on a wide range of 3D printers.
- More sustainable bioplastic: bioplastic-based formulation with recyclable cardboard spool and Polymaker's commitment to environmental initiatives.
- Easy-to-remove supports: optimized to generate supports that detach easily, reducing time and effort in post-processing.
- Slightly more abrasive than standard PLA: a hardened nozzle is recommended for frequent and long-duration prints.
