Notes
- Please note that improper maintenance may compromise product performance. Before inserting the camera into the Underwater Housing, be sure to close it securely (without the camera inside) and immerse it in water for 3 minutes. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the Underwater Housing, then check for moisture inside. If there is moisture inside, do not use the Housing.
- Avoid submerging the Underwater Housing in deep water without the camera inside. The high water pressure could damage the Underwater Housing.
- It is not recommended to use the Underwater Case underwater for more than 1 hour. Prolonged exposure to water pressure increases the risk of water ingress.
- Once you have inserted the camera, make sure that both the camera lens and the inside of the case are clean and free from dirt or dust.
- Once the Underwater Case is closed, make sure that the parts in contact with the rubber gasket are free from any foreign objects and that the latter is perfectly aligned.
- Do not open or close the Underwater Housing if sand, dirt, dust, or other small particles are present. This may affect the performance of the Underwater Housing and may damage the camera.
- After closing the Underwater Case, check that the rubber gasket is completely sealed and that there are no particles inside.
- The Underwater Case is not shockproof. Strong vibrations, impacts, or pressure could damage the case, significantly reducing its waterproofing.
- Do not open the Underwater Case if it is still wet.
- After shooting underwater, remove the camera and immerse the Underwater Case in fresh water for 5-10 minutes. If the Underwater Case is not soaked after use in salt water, the salt may compromise its waterproofing. Once soaked, rinse the Underwater Case under running water. The water pressure should never be too high, as this could compromise the waterproofing of the case.
- Make sure the Underwater Case is tightly closed before placing it under running water. Remove the Underwater Case from the water and dry it thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth. Do not dry it with any electronic device such as a hair dryer or heating pad.
- Make sure there's no sand in the Underwater Case before drying it. Sand can scratch the case if rubbed with a cloth.
- Do not store the Underwater Case in a hot, humid environment.
- Do not wash the Underwater Case with soap, mild detergents, or alcohol-based cleaning products. This may compromise its waterproof performance.
- Do not clean the Underwater Case with organic solvents (such as thinner, alcohol, or benzine).
