Spectrum PLA SILK is an incremental production filament based on PLA with the use of color concentrates that give the produced elements a satin effect. It is a unique material with extraordinary aesthetic qualities.

Amazing shiny effect

SILK filament is a PLA-based additive manufacturing material with color concentrates that give printed objects a satin effect. The satin surface of printed objects significantly reduces the visibility of layers on the side surface of printed objects. By using a specially developed pigment, it is possible to maintain the classic properties of PLA, i.e., simple and efficient printing, while achieving a very low shrinkage rate and relatively high tensile strength. Therefore, the material is designed for those who appreciate printing simplicity and excellent aesthetic properties.

Packaging

The filament is wound on a neat, transparent spool. Each spool contains information about the material type, diameter, and recommended printing temperature. The filament is vacuum packed with a moisture absorber. The entire product is packed in original Spectrum Filaments packaging, foiled.
