Features of the BCN3D Omega I60
IDEX Technology
IDEX is the only extrusion system capable of printing with two independent heads. Users can double productivity with duplication and mirroring modes, or produce parts with supports without cross-contamination. The BCN3D Omega I60 features refined IDEX technology, where the X-axis motors remain stationary during the printing process. This design feature minimizes inertia, resulting in accelerated print speeds.
HAQ-XY Kinematics
This motion architecture is considered one of the best systems for dual-extrusion 3D printers and CNC machines, as it provides a lightweight, robust, and precise approach. The BCN3D Omega I60 uses an improved version of this kinematic system by positioning the pulleys in a more optimal position. As a result, the system experiences a significant reduction in torsional moments along the X-axis during the printing process.
Extrusion System
The BCN3D Omega I60 is equipped with a powerful extrusion system featuring industry-leading components, including Bondtech LGX Pro 1.75mm direct extruders. This system provides greater control and precision. It also includes custom E3D Revo hotends, which offer best-in-class extrusion reliability and easy replacement.
Ready for High Speed
The BCN3D Omega I60 features integrated accelerometers and 32-bit electronics, along with a customized version of Marlin 2.1. This combination enhances the capabilities of the BCN3D Omega I60, allowing it to efficiently produce parts at an impressive speed of 300 mm/s and achieve accelerations of 10 m/s².
Actively Heated Room
A heated chamber facilitates the production of engineering plastics by maintaining the ideal temperature for the printable part throughout the printing process. The BCN3D Omega I60's heated chamber can reach temperatures up to 70ºC, making it ideal for printing materials such as ASA, PA, ABS, and reinforced PA, among others.
Huge print volume
The BCN3D Omega I60's available build volume is 450 x 300 x 450 mm (17.7 x 11.8 x 17.7 in), with a capacity of 60 liters. This, combined with the heated chamber, gives the BCN3D Omega I60 the ability to produce large technical parts.
Material Operations System (MOS)
This integrated materials module offers a complete all-in-one experience. The MOS allows you to control not only humidity but also temperature. Additionally, the material operating system allows for automatic filament loading and unloading. The BCN3Dmega I60's MOS can reach up to 75ºC and provides a relative humidity of less than 10%.
XYZ Autocalibration
This technology, which uses piezoelectric sensors, eliminates human intervention and ensures proper first layer adhesion. It performs calibration by measuring multiple points to adjust the print surface height (Z) and the offset (XY) between the nozzles.
