(The field of view is the section of the image used by the scanner to acquire a scan sequence.)

ScanXpert Scanning Suite

With ScanXpert you have everything you need to get started right away. The included software allows you to optimize your scans in many details. The ScanXpert scanning suite has a variety of post-processing tools that can make your scans better than the original. You can also crop scan areas and reprocess them perfectly using various fill and anti-aliasing functions.

The ScanXpert scanning suite allows exporting as .stl, .obj or .ply files. You can also import existing STL files for post-processing with the powerful tools of the ScanXpert scanning suite.

Improved scan alignment

The powerful ScanXpert scanning suite offers various options for aligning individual scans from different perspectives.

• Manual alignment:
  As a user, you can decide for yourself how to align individual scans or image sequences.
• Feature Alignment:
  During the scanning process, the software recognizes the position where the area images are automatically aligned with each other based on the surface structure.
• Marker Alignment:
  ScanXpert Scanning Suite features automatic marker recognition.
  Especially in the case of rotationally symmetrical components or homogeneous surfaces, the surfaces are precisely aligned to each other through automatic recognition of scan marks.
• Turntable alignment:
  With the optionally available turntable, individual images are automatically aligned based on a specified rotation angle of the turntable.
  In combination with the turntable, the scanning process can be easily automated.
