Description
The resin GR-18.1 IB Pro3dure is a low viscosity photocurable resin based on urethane-dimethacrylates, initiators, colorants and stabilizers , formulated for the generative production of indirect bonding trays (Indirect Bonding Trays) in the orthodontic field. The formulation is optimized to ensure a robust production and consistently high quality , compatible with image projection systems (DLP/LCD/SLA ≤405 nm). Thanks to the low viscosity (~2.4 Pa at 23°C), the resin is also filterable , a useful feature for maintaining cleanliness and consistency in the print tray.
Available in 1kg, colour: clear transparent (REF: D1001462).
COMPATIBLE WITH DLP/LCD/SLA 3D PRINTERS ≤405 nm
3D Resin GR-18.1 IB for Orthodontic Bonding Trays
There GR-18.1 IB is specifically designed for the manufacture of indirect bonding trays Dental — transparent trays used for the precise indirect placement of orthodontic brackets. The material supports layers of 50 to 100 μm and the optimum operating temperature is 23–30°C . The produced objects can be repaired with the same GR-18.1 IB resin.
Main advantages
- ✅ Clear transparent — ideal for precise and discreet orthodontic trays
- ✅ Low viscosity ~2.4 Pa s — filterable, easy to handle in the tray
- ✅ Layer 50–100 μm — high geometric definition
- ✅ Rapid post-curing : CD-1 (5 min) or CD-2 (10 min) in protective atmosphere
- ✅ Final hardness : ~80 Shore A
- ✅ Repairable with the same resin
- ✅ Compatible with ASIGA, exocad and main orthodontic workflows

Instructions for use
- Shake well the bottle before use
- Bring the resin to 23–30°C before use
- Carefully pour into the printer vat; remove bubbles with a clean squeegee or recoater routine
- If possible, always keep a bottle in the production unit to avoid temperature differences when refilling
- Print the trays (parameters: machine card)
- Cleaning with isopropanol ≥97%, approximately 3–5 min in an ultrasonic bath
- Post-curing in a protective atmosphere: CD-1 → 5 min / CD-2 → 10 min
- Recommended filtering at regular intervals to maintain cleanliness of the resin in the tray; let it rest 1 hour after filtering before use to eliminate bubbles
