Description

The resin printodent® GR-12 cast Pro3dure is a photopolymerizable resin based on urethanedimethacrylates, initiators, colorants and stabilizers , indicated for the generative production of dental casting molds using image projection systems (≤ 405 nm). The GR-12 cast formulation is optimized for the demands of robust production, ensuring consistently high quality.

Models produced with GR-12 cast resin can be repaired and used with common dental veneering materials , fully integrating into the digital dental workflow.

Available in red (REF: D1000737) in 1 kg pack.

COMPATIBLE WITH DLP/LCD/SLA 3D PRINTERS

GR-12 cast 3D resin for dental casting molds

3D resin GR-12 cast Pro3dure is a resin for generative manufacturing of dental casting molds based on image projection systems (≤ 405 nm). The formulation is optimized to ensure robust production and consistently high quality; the material can be used for construction processes with layers from 10 to 100 μm .

Main advantages:

  • ✅ Resin dedicated to the production of dental casting molds high precision
  • ✅ Compatible with standard dental coating materials (investment compounds)
  •  Low viscosity (< 250 mPa s) — easy cleaning and filtering
  • ✅ Compatible with CAD software (e.g. exocad) and Pro3dure post-curing devices (CD-1, CD-2)
  • ✅ Compatible with printers DLP / LCD / SLA (≤ 405 nm)
  • ✅ Layer from 10 to 100 μm

Instructions for use

The bottles of GR-12 cast resin must be Shake well before use .

Make sure the resin is at a temperature between 23°C and 30°C . If possible, always keep a bottle in the production unit to avoid temperature differences during refilling.

Carefully pour the resin into the image projection unit's vat. Bubbles can be removed with a clean spatula or by using the recoater routine.

To adjust the construction parameters, refer to the machine's technical data sheet.

Once the building process is complete, direct post-treatment is recommended; if this cannot be guaranteed, leave the produced parts in the liquid GR-12 cast resin.

Due to the low viscosity of GR-12 cast resin, it can be filtered and stirred regularly. To avoid bubbles, let the resin rest for 1 hour before use .

  1. Prepare the data (CAD & build preparation)
  2. Choose the parameters process (build style, etc.)
  3. Transfer data to the 3D printer
  4. Prepare the print — shake the bottle
  5. Fill the tray of the device resin
  6. Start printing and build the components
  7. Cleaning of pieces : IPA ≥ 97% — approx 3-5 min. in an ultrasonic bath
  8. Drying : until there are no IPA residues
  9. Post-curing (3-4 min.) in a suitable light-curing unit (e.g. CD-1 or CD-2 from pro3dure medical) in protective atmosphere
  10. Finishing parts : Models can be repaired and used with standard dental veneering materials

Important

To avoid harmful effects on the quality of the material, never expose the liquid material to irradiation .

Deviations from the manufacturing process described may lead to different mechanical and optical properties of the GR-12 cast resin.

Ensure the use of personal protective equipment during processing: butyl rubber gloves (EN ISO 374), goggles with side protection, protective clothing.

Caution : Cured resins are chemically resistant — avoid staining clothing!

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse with plenty of running water; consult a doctor if necessary. batch number and the expiration date are indicated on each package — do not use the product after the expiry date.

CLP classification (EC Reg. 1272/2008) : Skin Irrit. 2 (H315), Eye Irrit. 2 (H319), Skin Sens. 1 (H317), Aquatic Chronic 2 (H411).

⚠️ Transport note : Classified as environmentally hazardous in liquid form — UN 3082 , hazard class 9, packing group III.
