Multi-material printing without waste

Switching between materials often results in wasted filament, but the XL avoids this problem with efficient tool changing. Traditional multi-material printing relies on wipe towers, which can produce more waste than the printed object itself. The XL minimizes or eliminates waste with wipe-to-infill options, making it more cost-effective and environmentally friendly.

High-speed, high-quality printing

Speed ​​is important, but not at the expense of quality. The XL features Input Shaper and Pressure Advance technology to print multi-material objects faster than other desktop printers. The Nextruder system ensures excellent detail and sharp overhangs, while the large build area allows for precise, life-size models.

Reliable and easy to use

With automatic calibration, one-click printing, and a built-in Loadcell sensor for a perfect first layer, the XL takes care of the technical details. The segmented heated bed provides even heating across the entire surface, preventing warping and improving reliability. Its Spool Join feature also allows for uninterrupted prints by switching to a new spool when the current one runs out.

Intelligent connectivity and control

The XL supports both wired and wireless connectivity via Prusa Connect, allowing for remote control and monitoring. You can start prints directly from a browser and manage multiple projects with ease.
