To maintain compatibility between the camera and remote, update both to the latest firmware. To check for new firmware updates, connect the remote to the Insta360 app.

How to update the firmware:

Open the Insta360 app > Me > Device Settings > Accessory Settings, then connect to the remote control. If a firmware update is available, follow the on-screen prompts to complete the update.

1. Open the Insta360 app > Me > Device Settings > Accessory Settings.

2. Press on the remote control to confirm.

3. Update your remote control if a new firmware update is available.
