The filament SUNLU PA6-CF It is designed for applications requiring maximum strength, reliability, and thermal stability over time. It is a nylon (PA6) reinforced with 20% short carbon fiber, a combination designed to obtain components with professional mechanical properties, superior rigidity, and lightness.

Thanks to carbon fiber, SUNLU's PA6-CF excels in tensile strength (up to 170MPa), flexural strength (up to 245MPa), and has high heat tolerance, with a heat deflection temperature of 209°C. It is the ideal material for the production of gears, automotive components, housings, structural parts, industrial equipment, drones, and sports accessories, where maximum durability, low weight, and resistance to impacts and continuous stress are required.

The filament maintains low warping and excellent dimensional accuracy. The surface of your prints will look professional, matte, and characterized by excellent adhesion between layers. We recommend using hardened steel nozzles to avoid premature wear.

Directions for use

  • Use adhesive (PVA glue or specific for nylon) on the plate to improve adhesion .
  • Anneal at 80–130°C for 5–12h to maximize thermal and mechanical resistance. .
