SILK filament is a PLA-based additive manufacturing material with color concentrates that gives a satin effect to printed objects. The satin surface of the printed objects significantly reduces the visibility of the layers on the side surface of the printed objects. By using a specially developed pigment, it is possible to maintain the classic properties of PLA, i.e. simple and efficient printing, while achieving a very low shrinkage rate and relatively high tensile strength. Therefore, the material is designed for those who value ease of printing and excellent aesthetic properties.

Packaging

The filament is wound on a neat, transparent spool. Each spool contains information about the material type, diameter, and recommended printing temperature. The filament is vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber. The entire product is packaged in the original Spectrum Filaments packaging, wrapped in film.
