Spectrum HDPE is a modern filament made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), one of the most durable and chemically resistant thermoplastics available on the market.
The world's first HDPE filament with Low Warp technology
Spectrum HDPE is a modern filament made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), one of the most durable and chemically resistant thermoplastics available on the market. It is among the world's first HDPE filaments with Low Warp technology, making it suitable for reliable printing with desktop 3D printers. The innovative formulation developed by Spectrum ensures that HDPE, previously considered difficult to print, is now accessible to all 3D printing users.
A revolutionary technical filament with exceptional durability
Spectrum HDPE stands out for its low density of 1.1 g/cm³, making it a lightweight, strong, and rigid engineering material. This makes it ideal for the production of lightweight, high-strength structures. The filament offers a Rockwell hardness of 80 HRM, heat resistance exceeding 110°C, and excellent dimensional stability, ensuring strong layer adhesion and exceptional abrasion resistance.
Durability and strength you can count on
Spectrum HDPE features high impact strength, excellent wear and crack resistance, and very low moisture absorption, ensuring long-lasting molded parts. Thanks to its resistance to acids, bases, oils, and solvents, it offers exceptional performance in industrial, laboratory, and technical environments. Furthermore, the material is UV stable, non-flammable, and fully recyclable, making it versatile and environmentally friendly.
Versatility and functionality
In addition to its technical and structural applications, Spectrum HDPE can also be used as a cleaning filament, effectively removing material residue from the 3D printer nozzle.
