Spectrum ASA-X CF10 Filament
Weather resistance with a stunning carbon finish.
By analysing user feedback on our filament, we decided to broaden the range of outdoor materials for conditions with higher exposure to UV rays, temperature changes, and humidity. ASA, a well-known polymer highly resistant to weathering, became the basis for another composite material, Spectrum ASA-X CF10.
Our primary goal was to develop a material that could guarantee consistently high mechanical performance for printed models, especially in terms of hardness and rigidity, even with prolonged use in outdoor atmospheric conditions. The result is the creation of Spectrum ASA-X CF10, a composite based on a suitably selected ASA with carbon fibre filling.
We offer our users a filament resistant to external agents, such as sunlight (UV) and humidity (hydrolysis), with a tensile strength exceeding 7.5 GPa and a heat resistance of 101 °C. At the same time, Spectrum ASA-X CF10 features low shrinkage and is, unusually for technical materials with comparable properties, easy to print. All this, combined with a matte carbon surface that effectively masks the layers of printed models, has made Spectrum ASA-X CF10 a very popular choice in the 3D printing community.
Advantages of ASA-X CF10
- HDT thermal resistance - 95 °C
- Vicat softening point: 101 °C
