Spectrum ThermaTech PA is an advanced polyamide (PA6/6) based filament with boron nitride ceramic filler, engineered for applications requiring efficient thermal management and perfect electrical insulation. It is the answer to the growing need for specialized materials in industrial and professional 3D printing — where dissipating heat without the risk of short circuits is an indispensable requirement.

Why ThermaTech PA is Unique

Unlike graphite-based conductive materials, which expose circuits to the risk of short-circuiting, ThermaTech PA guarantees thermal conductivity without electrical conduction. This is due to the alignment of boron nitride particles along the printing axis: the particles orient themselves during extrusion, creating a preferential path for heat in the longitudinal direction, while electrical resistivity remains in the order of 10¹² Ω·cm.

Spool and Packaging

The 750 g spool has dimensions: width 55 mm, external Ø 200 mm, internal Ø 52 mm, empty spool weight 240 g in clear plastic. Each spool is individually sealed. Store in a cool, dry place between 15–25°C .

As with the entire Spectrum line, each ThermaTech PA spool can be individually measured online: average diameter, ovality, diameter variation over the entire length, and standard deviation are available for every single spool produced.
