Ability to change color

Spectrum PLA Thermoactive is a filament based on pure PLA mixed with a thermochromic pigment. Thanks to this extremely original addition, articles made with the additive technique change color based on the temperature. The color changes from red to cream once the surface temperature of the item exceeds 30°C. The previous color is gradually restored once the item reaches its initial temperature.

Packaging

The filament is wound on the spool neat and transparent. Each spool contains information on the type of material, diameter and recommended printing temperature. The filament is vacuum packaged with a moisture absorber. The entire product is packaged in the original Spectrum Filaments film-lined packaging.
