Spectrum PA6 Low Warp is an extremely durable building material based on polycaprolactam enhanced with additives to reduce the high shrinkage inherent in the processing of such materials.
Strong and abrasion resistant
Spectrum PA6 Low Warp is an extremely durable polycaprolactam-based construction material, enhanced with additives to reduce the high shrinkage inherent in processing such materials. Key features of Spectrum PA6 Low Warp filament include resistance to fuels and oils, high impact resistance, and excellent mechanical properties.
The improved cohesion of Spectrum PA6 Low Warp material allows for a significant reduction in the "curling" effect (especially at the corners of the printed model). This reduction is related to the low processing shrinkage of 0.3%.
The additives used in the production of Spectrum PA6 Low Warp make it a self-lubricating material, making it suitable for use in applications requiring friction. Furthermore, the molded parts exhibit good electrical insulation properties and are physiologically insensitive.
To achieve the excellent technical properties of Low Warp Polyamide, it's necessary to follow basic storage guidelines for these materials (in a dry, dark place with humidity below 15%). To achieve the best printed object parameters, it's recommended to dry the material before processing.
Main features:
- low processing loss
- high mechanical resistance
- chemical resistance to lubricants and oils
- wide variety of applications
- very high adhesion between layers, which minimizes the risk of delamination
Applications:
- wiper bearings, scrapers, guide rollers operating at high temperatures
- sealing rings and plates with increased chemical and corrosion resistance
- end-use parts
- tools
- functional prototyping
Packaging
The filament is wound on a clear, neat spool. Each spool contains information about the material type, diameter, and recommended printing temperature. The filament is vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber. An instruction manual is included. The entire product is packaged in the original Spectrum Filaments packaging, wrapped in film.
