Two textures (textured and smooth) in one plate
Experience the benefits of two different textures on a single plate: one side with a textured PEI surface and the other with a smooth PEI surface. This plate features a 0.5 mm stainless steel magnetic plate that improves magnetic adhesion and helps prevent warping, ensuring optimal print quality during 3D printing.

The use of a specially selected matte PEI sheet can provide a smooth, matte texture to the bottom surface of the printed object, improving its overall appearance.
Textured PEI surface:
Excellent first layer adhesion and increased durability

The textured PEI surface can withstand the repeated heating and cooling cycles of a printer's heatbed. Prints detach easily when the heatbed temperature reaches room temperature.
Considerations
- The accumulation of dust and grease on the print plate reduces adhesion. It is recommended to clean the surface regularly with water and detergent to maintain optimal adhesion.
- Increasing the heatbed temperature improves adhesion. Users should adjust the heatbed temperature according to their specific needs to achieve the most suitable level of adhesion.
- To restore adherence, you can carefully sand the textured PEI surface with fine-grit sandpaper (600 grit is recommended).
- If bubbles form on the bottom of the smooth PEI sheet, heating it on the heatbed at a temperature of at least 80 degrees for several hours may help eliminate them.
- Do not clean the Bambu Dual-Texture PEI plate with acetone, as this will damage the PEI surface.
- Bambu Lab recommends using only official Bambu Lab glue on Bambu Lab print plates and cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to the plates as a result of using third-party glue.
- Always wait a few minutes before removing printed models so the plate cools down, which facilitates print removal. This prevents damage to the plate and ensures a long product lifespan.
- The Bambu Dual-Texture PEI plate is considered a consumable part that will degrade over time. The warranty covers manufacturing defects only, not aesthetic damage such as scratches, dents, or cracks. Plates that are defective upon arrival are the only ones covered by the warranty.
