Multi-frequency L1-L2-L5 and multi-constellation RTK GNSS receiver with IMU-based tilt compensation (TILT). No need to check the bubble. With Reach RS3, you can survey even in difficult to access areas with a tilt of up to 60 degrees, maintaining an accuracy of 20 mm.

Available in dual configuration: Rover only (NTRIP) or Base-Rover (LoRa).

Reach RS3 is the new GNSS RTK from Emlid capable of reaching accuracies never seen before. It uses the IMU-based tilt compensation (TILT) that allows measurements with an inclination of up to 60° while maintaining an accuracy of 2cm. Reach RS3 continuously measures and corrects the inclination in real-time. In fact, it is no longer necessary to check the measurement bubble thanks to the TILT compensation that makes this topographic GPS capable of detecting even in difficult to access areas.

TILT tilt compensation

All RS3 GNSS antennas are individually calibrated at the factory. This means you can be up and running straight away after purchasing. Robust tilt compensation (TILT) makes Emlid Reach RS3 immune to magnetic disturbances , even when working close to metal structures.

FIX in 5 seconds

With Reach RS3, you get FIX in about 5 seconds and maintains accurate performance even when the sky is partially obstructed or the receiver is tilted. It uses a combination of GPS/QZSS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo signals to provide global coverage and fast RTK convergence.

LTE Modem and Data Logging

With Reach RS3, you have a wide choice of how to survey your points. You can work in RTK with VRS or with a single-band CORS (Permanent Stations) network. Simply insert the SIM card of your preferred operator to transmit and receive corrections via NTRIP. You can also connect another GNSS receiver as a base station NTRIP using Emlid NTRIP Caster. When you need to survey in areas without NTRIP Internet coverage, you can connect two receivers (one Rover and one Base ) that communicate with each other via radio (LoRa). UHF 450MHz Rover represents an option for combining RTK receivers. You can configure the Reach RS3 to receive corrections from an existing base station, or you can use an external high-power radio on the Reach base station and connect it to the Reach RS3 UHF radio receiver.

For recording raw data, you can use the free PPK Emlid Studio software or any other software that supports the format RINEX . RINEX registries are also compatible with OPUS, AUSPOS and PPP services so you can get accurate results anywhere in the world.

More working hours on a single charge

Reach RS3's built-in high-performance battery can support up to 22 hours of recording or 18 hours of working with TILT in RTK. It can handle high and low temperatures well and can perform over 2000 charge and discharge cycles.

TPad: the field topographic software

The TPad field topographic software can be used on all Android devices and allows you to detect and trace points in real time. It is equipped with many functions all managed in a real Topographic CAD: lines, arcs, circles, texts, photos, videos, layers.

With TPad, you can overlay cadastral or satellite maps on your survey, measure and trace points, calculate new points with the CoGo functions, measure hidden points or building edges with the “point by intersection” function, you can export and view your survey on Google Earth and much more.
