DJI RS 5 introduces the new RS Enhanced Intelligent Tracking Module, which allows you to frame and track people, vehicles, or animals directly from the gimbal's touchscreen, holding the subject perfectly in place. Tracking is no longer limited to just humans; you can select the object you want to track simply by touching it on the screen, with automatic subject recognition and quick switching via the dial.

The new Electronic Briefcase Handle features an electronic side grip with integrated joystick and buttons, ideal for low-level movements and creative angles while maintaining one-handed control of the gimbal and camera. The new Z-axis indicator provides instant feedback on your steps, helping you walk more smoothly to reduce vertical wobble when shooting on the move.

Fine-tuning knobs on each axis and Teflon interlayers allow for precise and smooth balancing even with heavier setups, speeding up lens or camera changes on set. The BG33 battery offers up to approximately 14 hours of standby time and supports a full charge in approximately 1 hour with a 65W PD charger, so you can cover a full day of work with minimal downtime.

The second-generation automatic axis locks lock the gimbal when it's powered off or put into sleep mode and unlocks it when it's powered on, making it incredibly quick to transition between transport, setup, and action when you need to capture once-in-a-lifetime moments. The main grip integrates the joystick and controls, while the touchscreen lets you manage ActiveTrack, composition (Keep Current Framing or Center Tracking Subject), and key settings without having to reach for your smartphone.

The basic version comes with everything you need to get started: RS 5 gimbal, Quick-Open tripod, lens mount, screw kit, top and bottom quick release plates, BG33 battery grip, USB-C camera control cable, and DJI adhesive. Thanks to its compatibility with the Ronin system and Bluetooth shutter, RS 5 easily integrates with many compatible mirrorless cameras and cine cameras, allowing you to control shooting and recording directly from the grip.
