The LiDAR Distance Finder can track up to 43,200 distance points within a 10m detection range. Compared to phase detection autofocus (PDAF), the Ronin 4D's LiDAR focusing system can focus faster, without compromising image quality or relying on the surface texture of the subject. This is especially useful in low light environments.
The LiDAR focus system makes manual focusing easier. Visualized focus assist technology shows distance points on the main and far monitors in a simplified top-down view. This provides an innovative and intuitive Waveform LiDAR to quickly locate and track focus points and enable extremely precise focus adjustments. Even operators with little or no experience can become masters with manual focus.
