The DJI Dock 4 represents the latest evolution in DJI Enterprise's autonomous "Drone-in-a-Box" stations, designed for industrial environments, public safety, and continuous monitoring. The key innovation in this fourth generation is the integration of an automatic battery swapping system. The dock can replace the drone's battery in under 25 seconds, reducing the total operational turnaround time to under 45 seconds and eliminating the long waits associated with conventional charging.
Supplied with the new DJI Matrice 5TD drone, the ecosystem enables instant takeoff (at speeds of up to 21 m/s) and an operational range of up to 10 km. The drone collects highly accurate data thanks to its multisensor payload (native 1280×1024 thermal imaging, up to 176× hybrid zoom, 3 km laser rangefinder, mmWave radar, LiDAR, and AI algorithms for automatic recognition of 17 object types).
