Creality K1 Max 2025

Overview

The K1 Max 2025 was designed as the top-of-the-range model in the K1 series, combining CoreXY kinematics, an enclosed chamber, and a 300 mm cubic volume to meet the needs of advanced makers, design studios, and small-scale production. The Creality OS system integrates an AI camera and LiDAR sensor for first-layer control, as well as smart functions such as print resume after power failure, filament run-out sensor, and network or cloud management.

The version currently on the market is usually referred to by retailers as the "2025 version", delivered fully assembled, pre-calibrated, and ready to print straight out of the box. In parallel, the 2024/2025 models include an advanced extruder/hotend assembly with a Unicorn nozzle and components partly derived from the K1C, simplifying maintenance and improving performance with technical and abrasive materials.

Main features

• Volume and structure – 300 × 300 × 300 mm print volume in an enclosed chamber, with a rigid CoreXY frame that allows for large-scale prints or small series on a single machine.
• Extreme speed – Speeds up to 600 mm/s with acceleration up to 20,000 mm/s², approximately 12 times faster than a traditional FDM, reaching maximum speed in 0.03 s.
• Extruder/hotend assembly – Dual-gear direct extruder with a ceramic heater surrounding the hotend, titanium alloy heatbreak, and 0.4 mm hardened material nozzle (Unicorn in recent revisions), operational up to 300 °C.
• Supported materials – Compatible with PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, PC, ASA, PA, and fiber-filled composites (PLA-CF, PETG-CF, PA-CF, etc.), thanks to a 300 °C all-metal hotend and heated bed.
• Build plate and calibration – Flexible PEI-coated steel plate, heated up to approximately 120 °C, with automatic leveling and LiDAR with a resolution of around 1 μm for first-layer control.
• Cooling and quality – Large fan on the print head with dedicated ducts plus an 18 W auxiliary fan in the chamber, to rapidly solidify the model and reduce stringing, warping, ghosting, and Z-banding.
• AI functions and safety – Integrated AI camera for "spaghetti" detection and remote monitoring, LiDAR for automatic first-layer analysis, air purifier/activated carbon filter, filament run-out sensor, and print resume after power outage.
• Usability and connectivity – 4.3" color touchscreen, Creality OS with simplified interface, LAN, Wi-Fi, USB connectivity, and Creality Cloud integration, plus Creality Print 4.3 software with high-speed printing presets.
