Degrees of Freedom Distribution
The thumb has two active degrees of freedom (abduction/adduction) and one passive (flexion/extension), while each of the other four fingers has one active and one passive degree of freedom for flexion/extension, ensuring a natural and versatile grip on objects of different shapes.
Safety and diagnostics
The hand integrates an LED signaling system on the back (flashing green when powering on, solid green during normal operation, flashing yellow for low voltage, cyan for OTA update, red for anomalies) and physical buttons for quick reset and activation of fist gestures, simplifying diagnostics and daily use.
Recommended applications
- Advanced robotic research and university laboratories
- Integration on collaborative robotic arms for fine manipulation
- Robotic prosthetics and applied bionics projects
- Industrial automation requiring adaptive grip and tactile control
