BlueCast X-One V2 - Premium Castable Resin for DLP/LCD 3D Printers

BlueCast X-One V2 It is the most popular and advanced castable resin in the BlueCast range, developed by the leading Italian company in the field of resins for microcasting. This revolutionary resin represents an absolute benchmark for goldsmiths and dental laboratories, thanks to its flawless casting results and to the universal compatibility with any type of coating and burnout cycle.

Distinctive Features

  • 0% dimensional shrinkage : the world's first castable resin with extreme dimensional stability
  • Low temperature melting : the innovative polymer melts at low temperatures, ensuring smooth surfaces and perfect letters
  • Ultra-rapid burnout compatibility : calcination cycle in just 2 hours at 700°C
  • No UV post-curing required : simplified and safe process
  • Zero bleed : even on LCD printers, absolute precision
  • Made in Italy : produced by BlueCast, Verdello (BG), Italy

Version V2 Improvements

X-One V2 introduces significant updates compared to the previous version:

  • Improved Resolution : Optimized for next-generation 12K printers with increased accuracy and reduced smudging
  • Enhanced printability : especially with DLP technology (without the need for additives)
  • Increased stability : at low temperatures for simplified management
  • Optimized casting : in micro-details, engravings and micropavé
  • Identical print profiles : Compatible with existing V1 profiles

Ideal Applications

X-One V2 is the professional solution for:

  • High-end jewelry with intricate engravings and texts
  • Models with micropavé and very fine details
  • Professional dental applications
  • Watermarks and delicate structures
  • Mass production with zero tolerances
  • Rapid castings for goldsmith services and workshops

Certifications and Safety

The resin complies with the Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH) and to the Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 (CLP) . The complete safety data sheet (revised 11/03/2021) highlights:

  • Classification : Repr. 2 H361f (suspected of damaging fertility)
  • Precautions : P281 (Use personal protective equipment), P273 (Avoid release to the environment)
  • Disposal : European waste code 08 01 99
  • Components : Oligomers (10-70%), Additives (10-70%), Photoinitiators (0.1-5%, CAS 75980-60-8)
  • Very low VOC content : almost imperceptible volatile organic compounds

Process of Use

Before printing :

  • Heat the resin to 25-40°C if solidified (below 18°C)
  • Shake the bottle for 60 seconds before use.
  • Let it rest for 5 minutes in the vat to eliminate bubbles
  • Use larger than normal starting supports (min. 0.4mm)
  • Always filter the resin after each print

Post-press and cleaning :

  • Wash in 91-99% ethyl alcohol or IPA
  • Ultrasound: 5 minutes cold (recommended procedure)
  • Machine wash: 5-10 minutes
  • Dry with compressed air: the color changes from dark gray to light gray/white
  • Second rinse with fresh alcohol to improve the casting quality
  • UV post-curing is not mandatory but accelerates the evaporation of the alcohol and stiffens the models

Microfusion :

  • Standard burnout : 680-750°C with traditional cycles
  • Ultra-rapid burnout (validated only for X-One and X-Filigree V2): rest for 3 hours, then 700°C for 60-90 minutes, cooling to casting temperature and holding for 60 minutes
  • Compatible with any type of gypsum-bonded coating (Optima Prestige recommended)

Why Choose X-One V2?

X-One V2 is the absolute reference resin for those looking for the maximum dimensional precision And perfect casting results . Unlike X-Nova (excellent for flexibility and pre-setting), X-One V2 is designed for applications where there is no margin for error : microscopic texts, detailed engravings, micropavés and complex structures.

It is the preferred choice of professional goldsmiths, casting services and dentists who require absolute dimensional stability And compatibility with ultra-rapid burnouts to optimize production times.
