Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro

The X1 and P1 series are compatible with AMS 2 Pro.

If you only use the automatic filament feeding function, you only need the 6-pin bus cable, 4-pin bus cable, Filament Buffer/AMS Hub, PTFE tube, and PTFE tube connector, and no external power adapter is required. However, if you want to use the drying function, the AMS 2 Pro requires an external power adapter.

For the drying function of the AMS 2 Pro, you must use the official Bambu Lab power supply. Damage to the product caused by third-party adapters will not be covered by the warranty.

• Filament drying at 65°C with active ventilation

• AMS 2 Pro compatibility with A1/A1 mini printers will be added via an OTA update in October 2025.
• The AMS 2 Pro is compatible with X1/P1 series printers for multi-material printing.
• For owners of an X1/P1 printer, a switching adapter is required to power the drying function. Since filament drying takes a long time, multiple adapters are unlikely to be used simultaneously. The optional adapter helps keep the price down.
• For H2D owners, the H2D printer can power any of the connected AMS 2 Pro units for drying. So, if you don't plan on using multiple AMS 2 Pro units simultaneously for drying, the adapter is not necessary.
• The AMS 2 Pro drying function is not currently supported on the X1E.
