The AlgoLaser DIY Kit MK2 is a precision diode laser engraver designed for makers, professionals, and small businesses who want to build their own laser machine. Featuring a 3.5" IPS touchscreen with the AlgoOS operating system, the device offers intuitive touch-to-engrave control without the need for a computer for basic operations.

General Technical Specifications

The system uses a 455±5nm wavelength diode laser and advanced spatial coherence technology for high-precision engraving. The working area is 400mm x 435mm, with the option of expanding to 400mm x 880mm with an optional extension kit. The maximum engraving speed reaches 12,000mm/min with a movement accuracy of 0.01mm.

The Pro version offers additional components and accessories compared to the Basic Kit, providing greater operational possibilities and advanced features for more demanding users.

Safe Kit

The Safe Kit integrates enhanced safety features and additional protective accessories, ensuring maximum protection when using the machine.

Security Features

The system integrates 7 key safety features: motion protection, thermal protection with flame detection, eye protection, emergency stop button, child lock, tilt detection, and USB disconnection detection. Laser safety glasses must always be worn during use.

Advanced Features

Auto Resume : In the event of interruptions such as blackouts or emergency breaks, the machine automatically resumes work from the point of interruption.

Batch Production : “Again” function on the touchscreen for rapid serial production.

AlgoType : Direct text input on the screen for engraving custom lettering.

Reverse engraving : To obtain better contrast on specific materials.

Workable Materials

Engraving and cutting : Various types of wood, plywood, MDF, cardboard, corrugated cardboard, acrylic, cork, polycarbonate, Depron foam, non-woven fabric, bamboo, leather.

Note : Be careful with oily woods or woods with a high resin content due to fire risk. The 20W module can engrave over 500 color shades on stainless steel.

Accessory Compatibility

The DIY Kit MK2 is fully compatible with rotary roller, smart protection camera and smart camera.
