RayStudio Mobile for iOS: Installation and User Guide

RayStudio Mobile is the official mobile app for controlling and managing tools with the SLAM 3D Eagle Scanner, designed to offer direct, wireless interaction between your iPhone and the scanner via a local WiFi connection. The app allows you to initiate and monitor scans, capture still images, and view device status in real time, offering a seamless and precise working experience in professional or technical settings.

Currently RayStudio Mobile is available exclusively for iOS devices and you can download it by scanning the following QR code with your mobile device or clicking on it to access the download page.

System requirements

For optimal performance, it's essential to meet some minimum system requirements and follow the proper procedure for connecting the scanner to your smartphone. This guide will walk you through every step, from installing the app to running a full scan.

The app requires iOS 15.0 or later . Recommended for use on iPhone 12 or later , to ensure maximum connection stability and a smoother user experience.

Installation and updates

RayStudio Mobile can be downloaded directly from the App Store by searching for the name of the app, or by visiting the official website JMMeta , where the download link is available. Make sure you always use the most updated version to access the latest features and improvements.

Connection between scanner and smartphone

After turning on the scanner, it will automatically activate a Wi-Fi hotspot. To connect it to your phone:

1. Open your iPhone's WiFi settings and connect to the network Rayzoom G100

2. Enter your password: 12345678

3. Launch the RayStudio Mobile app and, from the main screen, access the connection section
   

4. Tap “Connect” and wait for the device information to appear

   

5. When connecting for the first time, you may be asked to confirm your authorization.

   

Once the connection is complete, you can start using the scanner via the app.

First use after restarting the scanner

After a reboot, the system may take a few seconds to properly sync the time. During this time, the scan button in the app will be disabled. Once syncing is complete, the app will automatically update the status and the button will become active.

Run a scan

To start a scan:

• Open the app and press “Start Scan”
  

• While scanning, you can view the status in real time. In fixed-point acquisition mode, you can take a photo by tapping the camera icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
  

• To end the scan, press the timer icon
