Corrects movement drift

Mechanical precision can vary with use. The Vision Encoder corrects this, maintaining absolute movement precision within 0.1 mm across the entire work area. Draw 300 mm. Cut 300 mm.

5-minute calibration for weeks of precision

Position, calibrate, and go. A quick 5-minute calibration helps maintain high movement precision for weeks by compensating for changes caused by wear and prolonged use.

Tips for use

 

1. Movement precision may change over time due to usage, relocation, and environmental conditions, including:

• Ambient temperature fluctuations
• Structural micro-deformations caused by vibrations or moving the device
• Mechanical wear over time

For applications requiring consistent high precision, we recommend recalibrating every two weeks.

2. The Vision Encoder is used only for movement precision calibration. Please remove and store it properly after calibration.

3. Before performing the calibration with the Bambu Lab Vision Encoder, ensure the following:

• The transparent protective film has been removed from the Vision Encoder before first use.
• The toolhead camera is functioning correctly and the lens is clean.
• The work area is free of debris.
• The surface of the Vision Encoder is clean, with all grid patterns clearly visible.
