GUIDE TO USING THE TEACHER'S CARD (CARTA DEL DOCENTE) ON 3DIGITAL

Who can use the Teacher's Card?

You are entitled to the Teacher's Card if you are:

A tenured teacher (including part-time)
A teacher in the induction and probationary period
A teacher declared unfit for health reasons
A teacher on secondment, reassignment, or detached
A teacher serving abroad or in military schools
Based on recent court rulings, teachers with fixed-term contracts until August 31st or substitute teachers may also request the bonus for each school year worked. (Decree 45/2025 Teacher's Card)

You cannot use the Card if:

You are suspended for disciplinary reasons

How much credit do I have available?

Every year, you are allocated €383 (UNDER UPDATE FOR THE 2026/2027 SCHOOL YEAR).

Remaining credit from previous years accumulates.

If you do not spend the entire bonus in one year, you can use it in subsequent years, up to the maximum limit.

What can you spend the Card on?

The Teacher's Card is intended exclusively for professional development and training.
Only the following are permitted:

Purchases of IT or technological tools only if integrated into a training package (e.g., online course + certificate + product).

Examples of permitted purchases on 3Digital (according to current regulations):

3D Printers, 3D Scanners, Lasers, CNCs, Cutting Plotters (Cricut, Silhouette, and LokLik), DJI Mini 5 Pro Drone (basic version).

Only if included in a training kit that includes:

Physical product + any accompanying accessories/consumables
Free online course on the educational use of the product (automatically sent via email after the order containing the product eligible for voucher purchase is processed)
Certificate of participation (sent after participating in the course and completing the online form received via email)

N.B. All instructions for accessing the course and the documents to be signed will be sent by our digital signature system, SignRequest. To avoid the email ending up in your spam folder, remember to add no-reply@signrequest.com to your email account's list of safe senders.

How to generate and use the voucher on the official website

Access cartadeldocente.istruzione.it with SPID.
Check your available balance.
Click on "Create Voucher" and select the type of business and the category “Hardware”.
Enter the required amount.
Generate the PDF voucher and send it to us in reply to the order confirmation email you received.

How to make a purchase on 3Digital ONLINE:

Always consult the product page on 3Digital: you will find the “Teacher's Card” poster on products that can be purchased via voucher.
Before purchasing, you can ask for confirmation of the product/kit's validity.

Add the chosen product or bundle to the cart (eligible products have the Teacher's Card poster; the screenshot also suggests a teacher's card kit with optional, but recommended, accessories/consumables)
From the cart, click on "Request invoice," then "Private," and enter your tax code (codice fiscale) by clicking "save"
Proceed to the order by choosing “Teacher's Card” as the alternative payment method. If the billing address is different from the shipping address, click on "Use a different address for billing," then click review order to check the entered data and confirm the order
Make sure you have clicked confirm order! Do not close the page immediately after payment!

In reply to the order email (or via WhatsApp 0438 1693056), send the voucher generated as hardware, with your tax code attached
You will receive an electronic invoice as confirmation of validation via email
The course and documentation will be sent upon processing of the order (remember to also check your spam folder for incoming emails from no-reply@signrequest.com)

Important:
If your voucher does not cover the full amount, after sending us the voucher, you will receive a link in a reply email where you can pay the difference using another payment method.

ATTENTION!

If you do not see the "Teacher's Card" option on the payment page, click on "Check-out without registration" as shown in the figure below. This will allow you to access all available payment methods, including the Teacher's Card.

After purchase: completion of training requirements

To be fully compliant (according to regulations), you will receive the following via email from no-reply@signrequest.com:

Access to the online course
Supplementary documentation to be completed
Certificate of participation
Note your participation in the course and the purchase made in your Individual Training Plan (if relevant): this is good practice in case of future ministerial audits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I buy a Laser, CNC, Cutting Plotter, 3D Scanner, or 3D Printer with the Teacher's Card?
Yes, only within an educational package (product + course + certificate) compliant with MIUR regulations (art. 4 DPCM 28/11/2016).
Always contact us for confirmation regarding the chosen product. The course is free and included in the price of the product eligible for Teacher's Card purchase.

It is NOT POSSIBLE to purchase individual accessories or consumables with the Teacher's Card.

It IS POSSIBLE to purchase the main device together with an accessory, but NEVER the accessory alone.

For example: a 3D printer purchased together with filaments or spools is permitted, but buying only filaments, resins, or spools is not—even if you already own a 3D printer, including one purchased from us. The same applies to other sectors: laser engraver + rotary module is permitted, just the rotary module is not; 3D scanner + included accessory is permitted, just the accessory is not.

Can I buy a drone?
Yes, only the DJI Mini 5 Pro as it is compatible with the SDK for development for teaching purposes.

Can video cameras such as Insta360 be purchased with the Teacher's Card?

No, unfortunately, video cameras and video recording devices, including models like Insta360, cannot be purchased with the Teacher's Card.

Video cameras fall under the technological peripherals excluded from the bonus, as indicated in the official MIUR FAQs: the list of non-permitted goods includes, in fact, printers, flash drives, scanners, webcams, and video cameras, as they are not considered tools that are “primarily functional” for the purposes of professional development provided for by the Teacher's Card (cf. MIUR FAQ on the bonus, Law 107/2015, art. 1 paragraph 121 and DPCM 28/11/2016).

Can I return or get a refund for a product purchased with the Teacher's Card?
It is not possible to obtain a cash refund (bank transfer or cash) for products purchased with the Teacher's Card. This is because the voucher is personal, non-transferable, and intended exclusively for specific training expenses, as provided by regulation. This is not possible even in the case of a return or exchange of a product, as it is not contemplated by ministerial rules.

How many vouchers can I use for an order?
Only one voucher per teacher is accepted for each order.

I placed an order selecting Teacher's Card as payment, but immediately after, I received an order cancellation email. Why?
It means that one or more products purchased are not eligible for purchase with the Teacher's Card. The system automatically analyzes the items in the order, and if one or more products are not eligible, it automatically cancels the order. (e.g., consumables or video cameras/gimbals are not eligible for purchase with the Teacher's Card)
