Placing your filament spools in a vacuum-sealed bag is a great way to protect them. The bags block dirt, dust, and most importantly, moisture from reaching the filament. Keeping the filament sealed and dry is the best way to protect it and preserve its properties. This is especially true for hygroscopic filaments such as Nylon (PA) and PVA.

By properly storing your filaments sealed and dry you will help prolong their life and ensure the quality of your prints is always the best it can be.

Easy to use:

The storage kit is very easy to use. Place the filament spool in a vacuum bag, add a bag of silica gel and a humidity indicator, seal the bag and use the pump to empty the air. Hold the air valve against a flat surface to help maintain a tight seal with the pump. The valve is self-sealing for easier use.

Be sure to place the humidity indicator so you can keep an eye on it. As long as the dots on the indicator remain brown, the filament is safe and dry. If the indicator starts to turn blue, there may be moisture in the bag and you should repack the coil with a new silica gel bag.

The vacuum bags are resealable and can be reused.

Each set contains:

• 1 x Vacuum Pump
• 10 x Vacuum Bags - 350 x 310mm (suitable for most 1kg filament spools)
• 15 humidity indicators
• 15 bags of silica gel.
