The Revopoint POP 4 is a versatile 5-in-1 hybrid 3D scanner, usable both handheld and desktop. Combining 30 cross blue laser lines, full-field HD IR structured light, and rapid VCSEL technology, it scans dark, shiny, and complex objects with accuracy up to 0.03 mm, without the need for markers or scanning spray. With a working distance of 200-800 mm, speeds up to 105 fps, and volumetric accuracy of 0.03 + 0.05 mm × L(m), it is developed for professional workflows in reverse engineering, 3D printing, product development, digital media, and industrial measurement. Full Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android support via Wi-Fi 6 or USB-C makes it effective both in the studio and in the field.
High precision for complex objects
The POP 4 scanner combines 30 cross blue laser lines with full-field infrared light and VCSEL technology to create detailed 3D models with high precision. Laser scanning achieves accuracy up to 0.03 mm and is particularly effective for mechanical components, reverse engineering, and Scan-to-CAD workflows. The scanner handles many difficult materials like dark plastic surfaces, reflective metals, and flat objects without traditional tools such as markers or scanning sprays.
Two versions for different workflows
The standard edition includes the scanner, tripod, mini turntable, and necessary cables. This package is suitable for users who primarily work in a fixed position, at a desk or in a studio, with a computer.
The Premium edition also includes:
- Handle with 5500 mAh battery
- Outdoor blue filters for scanning in bright sunlight
- Protective carrying case
The ergonomic handle with integrated battery offers up to four hours of wireless operation and enables a mobile workflow in combination with smartphones or tablets via Wi-Fi 6. The included outdoor filters also allow blue laser scanning up to 100,000 lux, reducing interference caused by strong ambient light.
AI-based real-time scanning
The POP 4 uses integrated artificial intelligence to isolate the object during the scanning process. The Zero-Noise Capture function automatically filters out backgrounds, tables, and unwanted elements in real time. The AI system can also identify and hide the user's fingers, allowing objects to be held and rotated directly in hand during scanning.

3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS)
The POP 4 supports direct export in .splat format for creating photorealistic 3D Gaussian Splatting. This technology allows for more realistic results for reflections, translucency effects, and complex materials compared to traditional texturing techniques. Unlike mobile device solutions, the POP 4 bases its splats on a precise geometric model, ensuring greater dimensional accuracy and more stable results.
Software and workflow
With Revo Scan 6, point clouds can be processed automatically or manually using cleaning, optimization, and export tools.
The ecosystem is completed by:

Blue laser scanning (multi-line laser) and 3DGS mode require a dedicated NVIDIA graphics card for hardware acceleration, such as an RTX 3060 or higher. The multi-line laser mode does not support standalone operation directly with a mobile phone and requires a PC connection. Full-field and VCSEL modes can, however, be used directly with compatible mobile devices.
