The PioCreat hot-air dryer is an industrial hopper dryer designed for the controlled drying of plastic granules prior to processing. With a 25 kg capacity and 3.5 kW heating power, it uses forced hot air circulation to remove surface moisture from the plastic resin while maintaining a controlled drying temperature. The stainless steel material contact surfaces, precise temperature control and integrated viewing windows make it suitable for preparing demanding materials in additive manufacturing and plastics processing environments.

Controlled hot-air drying
The dryer uses a forced hot air circulation system to condition plastic granules prior to processing. Ambient air is drawn in through the fan and passed through the heating element before entering the material hopper, where the heated air evenly contacts the resin. Moisture released during drying is then discharged through the top outlet.
The integrated temperature controller allows the drying temperature to be adjusted according to the requirements of the material being processed, helping to maintain consistent drying conditions throughout the process.
Durable construction for material processing
All surfaces that come into contact with the raw material are made of stainless steel. The dryer also uses a precision die-cast aluminium casing with a smooth surface and good thermal insulation properties.
Material viewing windows are integrated into both the hopper and the base, allowing the operator to inspect the material inside without having to open the system. The hopper structure is designed for easy access and compatibility with automated material handling systems.
Curved heating cylinder
The electric heating cylinder features a curved design engineered to prevent material dust from accumulating at the bottom of the cylinder. This helps reduce the risk of localized overheating or combustion caused by residue build-up.
A quiet blower provides the necessary airflow for the drying process, while an optional air filter can be used where increased material cleanliness is required.
Suitable for a wide range of plastics
The dryer can be used with compatible plastic granules, including materials such as PLA, PETG, ABS, PA, PE, PP, PS, PVC and PC, as well as suitable materials loaded with carbon fibres (CF) and glass fibres (GF). The drying temperature and time should always be selected according to the specific material requirements and must be within the operating limits of the dryer.
The unit is designed for granular plastic materials and is not suitable for plastic powders, highly adhesive materials or materials that become adhesive during heating.
