HeyGears UltraPrint Tooling PAU20 3D Resin

HeyGears UltraPrint Tooling PAU20 resin is a high-performance industrial-grade engineering material, formulated to match the mechanical toughness and durability of thermoplastics such as ABS and polycarbonate (PC). Designed for heavy-duty workshop applications and production lines, PAU20 offers high impact resistance (35 J/m), a high flexural modulus (2300 MPa), and extraordinary mechanical fatigue resistance over long cycles. Low shrinkage and dimensional tolerances down to ±0.04 mm allow for the production of jig fixtures and structural components capable of transmitting high loads without cracking or deforming. The black, smooth, and wear-resistant surface finish ensures a long service life even in the presence of continuous friction and contact with moderate chemical agents.

Key Features

  • High Impact Toughness: Offers shock absorption and an elongation at break of 23%, making printed components resistant to drops, sudden impacts, and intense mechanical vibrations.
  • Exceptional Fatigue Resistance: Designed to withstand cyclic mechanical stresses and repeated loads over long production cycles without exhibiting failure or structural degradation.
  • Dimensional Accuracy (±0.04 mm): Low volumetric shrinkage to ensure millimeter precision for drilling jigs, assembly fixtures, and interlocking assemblies.
  • Durable and Wear-Resistant Surface: Smooth black finish with low surface friction, highly tolerant to workshop handling and daily wear..
  • Thermal and Environmental Resistance: Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) of 60 °C at 0.455 MPa, having passed UV aging (200 h) and warm humidity (Damp Heat) tests.

Target Applications

  • Manufacturing Tooling: Custom assembly jigs, drilling guides, clamping fixtures, and quality control gauges.
  • Robotics and End-Effectors: Grippers for robotic arms, mounting plates, and components for automated lines.
  • Prototypes and Functional Components: Robust protective housings, enclosures, structural elements, and final production aids.

Printer Compatibility

  • HeyGears Ecosystem (385 nm UV Source): Native compatibility with HeyGears printers equipped with a 385 nm optical engine:
  1. UltraCraft Reflex
  2. UltraCraft Reflex Turbo
  3. UltraCraft Reflex 2
  4. UltraCraft Reflex 2 Pro

(Pre-set print profiles are integrated in the Blueprint Studio software).

  • Open MSLA / LCD Printers: Compatible with third-party desktop 3D printers operating at a 385 nm UV wavelength.
