HeyGears UltraPrint Molding PAH270 3D Resin
The HeyGears UltraPrint Molding PAH270 resin is an industrial-grade engineering material formulated for applications involving extremely high thermal and mechanical stress. Characterized by the highest heat resistance in the Reflex range, it boasts a heat deflection temperature (HDT) that reaches 270 °C and a flexural modulus of 7240 MPa. PAH270 enables engineers and manufacturers to create rigid components and functional molds capable of maintaining their structural integrity under high loads and continuous heat. Thanks to the presence of silicon dioxide in the formulation (45-60%) and its high hardness (94 Shore D), it offers excellent scratch resistance, dimensional stability, and resistance to aggressive chemical and gaseous environments.
Key Features
- Extreme Heat Resistance (HDT up to 270 °C): Maintains excellent dimensional and structural stability even under severe thermal loads, preventing softening, deformation, or expansion.
- Extraordinary Structural Rigidity (7240 MPa Modulus): The very high flexural modulus prevents bending and sagging under heavy mechanical pressure or clamping.
- Precision Molding Capability: Ideal for producing short-run masters and molds thanks to its smooth, precise, and wear-resistant surface.
- High-Density Filled Formulation: Formulated with 45-60% silicon dioxide to ensure maximum hardness (94 Shore D) and scratch resistance. (Note: given the high density of 1.38 - 1.70 g/cm³, the 1000g bottle contains the correct nominal weight even if the occupied volume is lower than that of standard resins).
Target Applications
- Industrial Tooling and Molding: Low-run injection molds, thermoforming inserts, blow molds, and high-temperature welding jigs.
- High-Temperature Engineering: Air and hot fluid manifolds, engine compartment components, thermal test jigs, and environmental chambers.
- Electrical and Thermal Housings: Heat shields, thermal sensor mounts, and enclosures for electronics subject to overheating.
Printer Compatibility
- HeyGears Ecosystem (385 nm UV Source): Native compatibility with HeyGears printers equipped with a 385 nm optical engine:
- UltraCraft Reflex
- UltraCraft Reflex Turbo
- UltraCraft Reflex 2
- UltraCraft Reflex 2 Pro
(Optimized print profiles are pre-set in the Blueprint Studio software).
- Open MSLA / LCD Printers: Compatible with third-party desktop 3D printers operating at a 385 nm UV wavelength.
