HeyGears UltraPrint Casting PAC10 3D Resin

The HeyGears UltraPrint Casting PAC10 resin is a high-precision, wax-filled castable material, specifically developed for direct investment casting processes. Designed to ensure an extremely clean, ash-free burnout process, the PAC10 resin allows goldsmiths, dental technicians, and industrial casting specialists to produce complex metal components, rings, and fine details with smooth surfaces and zero thermal expansion stress on investment molds.

Key Features

  • High Wax Content and Clean Burnout: Formulated with a 70-75% wax content and extremely low ash residue (0.01 - 0.02%), it guarantees a residue-free burnout cycle, preventing porosity or surface defects on metal castings.
  • Low Thermal Expansion: Expands minimally during heating, avoiding cracks or breakage of gypsum or phosphate-bonded investment molds.
  • Ultra-High Definition Detail: Captures complex micro-geometries, thin filigree, and convex details down to 0.08 mm with accuracy, making it suitable for both hollow or lightweight textures and large, solid structures.
  • Wax-Like Handling: Offers a balanced consistency between toughness and rigidity, making printed models easy to inspect, retouch, sprue, and channel before insertion into the casting cylinder.
  • Distinctive Purple Color: The Violet shade allows for excellent visibility of details during visual inspection of the parts.

Target Applications

  • Jewelry and Goldsmithing: Custom rings, intricate pendants, earrings, filigree work, and masters for precious metal casting.
  • Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics: Metal crowns, frameworks, partial dentures, and custom copings.
  • Industrial Micro-Casting: Precision metal components in short runs, artistic bronze sculptures, and functional alloy prototypes.

Printer Compatibility

  • HeyGears Ecosystem (385 nm source): Designed specifically for HeyGears printers equipped with a 385 nm optical engine (UltraCraft Reflex, UltraCraft Reflex Turbo, UltraCraft Reflex 2, UltraCraft Reflex 2 Pro). Optimized print profiles are pre-set in the Blueprint Studio software.
  • Open MSLA/LCD Printers: Compatible with third-party desktop 3D printers operating at a 385 nm UV wavelength.

Standard Burnout Cycle (Gypsum-Bonded Investments)

Wax Melting and Evacuation Phase (A): Insert the cylinders into the oven (from room temp. to max 150 °C), heating ramp at 1.5 °C/min up to 180 °C (hold 60 min) and subsequent ramp at 1.5 °C/min up to 350 °C (hold 120 min) to allow liquid wax to escape.

Resin Burnout Phase (B): Ramp at 3.6 °C/min up to 780 °C (hold 180 min) for total elimination of resin residues from the investment.

Metal Casting Phase (C): Cooling ramp at -2.5 °C/min until reaching the desired temperature for casting the selected metal.
