eSUN PETG-ESD is an antistatic FDM filament with a permanent effect, designed to protect sensitive electronic components, integrated circuits, and their packaging from electrostatic discharges. Thanks to its controlled surface resistivity of 10⁹ Ω, static charges dissipate safely instead of accumulating on the printed part, eliminating the risk of ESD damage during handling or assembly.
The material combines the established qualities of PETG—toughness, good layer adhesion, and a smooth surface—with permanent antistatic properties and anti-dust capabilities, making it suitable for both rapid prototyping and the production of functional components in technical and industrial environments. It supports high-speed printing (up to 300 mm/s) and is compatible with standard PETG settings, lowering the barrier to entry even for professional users who do not want to recalibrate their print profile from scratch.
Key Features
- Permanent surface resistivity of 10⁹ Ω — reliable and long-lasting ESD protection
- Smooth and uniform print surface, ideal for professional applications
- Anti-dust properties: reduces particle adhesion on printed parts
- High print speed support up to 300 mm/s
- Excellent toughness and balance between rigidity and mechanical strength
- Compatible with 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8 mm nozzles
- Not resistant to UV light and aging — to be considered for outdoor use
Typical Applications
- Protective containers and housings for electronic components and chips
- Masks and fixtures for printed circuit board (PCB) assembly
- Tools and jigs for electronic manufacturing and repair environments
- Packaging for integrated circuits and precision components
- Functional prototypes requiring certified ESD protection

⚠️ For best print quality, it is recommended to enable Z-seam alignment and start point in the slicer, disable Z-axis lift during travel moves, and slightly reduce print speed. Mechanical data was collected on samples printed with Bambu P1S (0.4 mm nozzle) and OrcaSlicer 2.1.0 Beta.
