The DJI FC100 Parachute Kit is the dedicated parachute module for the DJI FlyCart 100, designed as an additional level of safety for professional cargo operations. It is part of the FC100 safety architecture and supports two deployment modes: manual and automatic, with audible (buzzer) and light signals for event management.
According to DJI specifications, the parachute (model E2MSF-100A) is designed to achieve a touchdown speed ≤ 7 m/s in reference measurements (100 m altitude, 25°C, no wind, maximum takeoff weight). DJI also specifies a minimum deployment altitude of 100 m to achieve a stable speed upon contact with the ground.
For real-world use, the kit is rated IP55, has an operating temperature range of -20°C to 40°C, and a battery that allows for ≥ 1 hour of system runtime with the mainboard off. It also includes built-in storage for recording flight data (up to 10 flights as specified in the specifications).
