Product Description
Bambu Lab PET-CF is a professional PET filament reinforced with carbon fiber, designed for engineering applications requiring high stiffness, mechanical strength, and long-term dimensional stability. The combination of PET and carbon fiber minimizes warping and shrinkage, maintaining excellent tolerance precision and an elegant satin-finish surface. Thanks to its extremely low moisture absorption, printed parts maintain their characteristics even in high-humidity environments, making it a valid alternative to reinforced nylon when greater stability is required.
Heat resistance up to 200°C (HDT) makes this filament ideal for components exposed to high temperatures, such as parts near engines, technical housings, brackets, and production fixtures. Its high hardness and flexural modulus exceeding 5 GPa enable the creation of rigid components that are resistant to creep and deformation over time, making them suitable for demanding structural and mechanical applications. The use of hardened steel nozzles and closed printers is recommended to maximize the material's properties, reducing nozzle wear and improving layer adhesion.
Bambu PET-CF is particularly suitable for automotive components, equipment and jigs, mounting brackets, functional parts subject to load, rigid supports for electronics and light mechanics.
