The AMS features an airtight seal and a desiccant material that absorbs moisture and keeps the filaments dry. The built-in humidity sensor provides real-time humidity status, ensuring the best possible print quality.

Automatic filament identification

Bambu Lab filaments are equipped with RFID tags that are automatically recognized by the AMS, allowing you to optimize settings for your chosen material. For perfect synchronization, RFID tags are automatically updated through Bambu Studio. Non-Bambu Lab filaments can be manually configured for use in Bambu Studio or on the printer.

Elevate your color palette

Each Bambu Lab AMS offers four filament slots and up to four AMS units can be installed in parallel, supporting up to 16 colors. You can make vibrant, multi-colored prints that stand out with ease by connecting four AMS units via the AMS Hub .

Technical details:

* Filaments that are too soft, brittle or abrasive are not compatible with AMS, such as Bambu PET-CF/TPU 95A and TPE, TPV, PVA, PET-CF/GF, PA-CF/GF, PAHT-CF/GF filaments , etc. If you prefer to use cardboard spools, we recommend using a spool adapter to reduce the risk of debris slipping and getting stuck in the AMS.
