Strongman™ Black PLA Filament , is solid like ABS filament, but has functional characteristics of normal PLA.
Strongman filament was developed because printing with ABS filament is more difficult. Compared to conventional PLA filament, PLA Strongman is much more resistant, especially to impacts. It is used for printing drones, bearings and all products that require greater strength. In the video you can see the resistance test of the normal PLA and PLA Strongman filament where a weight of half a kilo was used. The result is that the normal PLA filament broke, while the Strongman PLA remained unchanged. Regarding thermal resistance, this filament has the same characteristics as normal PLA filament.

To obtain good results, it is necessary to print at a temperature of 200–230°C and the bed must be heated to 50–60°C.
Please note that the printing temperature range may differ slightly depending on the type of printer you use.

The Strongman filament has a net weight of 1 kg (2.2 lbs) on a spool with an external diameter of 210 mm, internal diameter of 60mm
and width 62 mm. The filament is vacuum sealed and contains a moisture-wicking, moisture-wicking bag
to the filament to remain dry. The thickness of PLA filament is 1.75mm or 2.85mm.
