Collection: Make your own filament

Felfil

Felfil at school

The Felfil system allows you to recycle plastic waste into spools of filament suitable for use by 3D printers (the spools are comparable to the cartridges of traditional printers). It is a tool designed to be used by everyone, from experts to beginners: it is therefore suitable for students .

Through learning by doing, students can more easily learn the potential of new technologies , in particular those related to digital fabrication , and become more aware of environmental issues .

The principles of 3D printing and extrusion are put into practice with interactive and hands-on lessons , which teach how to use different tools: the 3D printer to create new objects, and the filament extruder to recycle household plastic waste. In this way, students enter firsthand into the circular process of printing and recycling plastic waste .

A fun and challenging new approach for students and teachers!

Felfil For Research

A filament extruder can be very useful if you are experimenting with materials in the medical, chemical or pharmaceutical fields, helping to reduce research and development times and costs. With the Felfil extrusion system you can create your material easily and quickly, immediately testing the performance and making adjustments if necessary.

Felfil Evo supports various types of materials and is suitable for experimentation.

Design And Engineering

Do you need to create a prototype for a specific application or with a particular finish? Using a filament extruder you can produce composite filaments to make your prototype with unique effects or for extreme applications. Felfil Evo allows you to obtain a rapid evaluation of the material directly from your desk.

Aerospace

3D printing and filament extrusion technologies related to the aerospace industry lead to the search for new applications for space exploration. Take direct care of the entire process, from research to prototyping. Develop innovative and lightweight materials and save time and resources, independently and safely.

Medicine And Biomedical

3D printing helps doctors, researchers or biomedical teams to create prototypes of different nature and to visualize and test procedures . With Felfil Evo it is possible to create a biopolymer through extrusion and print it in 3D, with advantages in terms of time and costs compared to traditional extruders: the tank with which it is equipped, in fact, allows you to test a smaller quantity of material .

How can you customize your filament?

Different types of materials can be added and mixed in the extrusion process, allowing you to experiment and make a 100% unique and customized filament.
With the Felfil recycling system you can shred, extrude and spool filament with your waste or using different types of materials, even with organic element powders.
