This PETG filament is an easy to work with, versatile and very durable material for your 3D printer. At the same time, it convinces with high flexibility and virtually zero material shrinkage. Buy it in bright, transparent and opaque colors. 3D print it ideally with a sticker (bed sticker).
Main properties of PrimaSELECT PETG material:
- Simple processing, extraordinary versatility and very resistant water-repellent filament
- Opaque, transparent or very shiny and translucent material
- It has almost no odor when 3D printed and can come into contact with food in the transparent version
- Very strong and durable - Perfect for technical and artistic applications
PrimaSELECT PETG filament buys PrimaCreator
PrimaSELECT PETG filament is an easy to work with, versatile and very durable material for your 3D printer. At the same time, it convinces with high flexibility and virtually zero material shrinkage. PrimaSELECT offers you two variants of PETG: translucent and opaque. The PETG material does not absorb water and is easy to work with on your 3D printer. 3D print it ideally with an adhesive (bed glue).
The main properties of PETG filament material:
Objects made with PETG filament are clear, transparent or opaque
The main properties of PETG filament material:
- PETG 3D printing material is very easy to work with
- The components are extremely resistant, durable and long-lasting
- Minimal risk of deformation during 3D printing
- Water-repellent material (hydrophobic: does not absorb water)
- In the transparent version approved for food contact (food safe)
- No unpleasant odors during processing
Matte, transparent, glossy or translucent PETG 3D printer filament
With translucent PETG filament you get an extremely shiny and almost continuous transparent object. Translucency depends on the number and thickness of layers. Solid colors provide a vibrant and beautiful surface with a glossy finish.
PETG is hydrophobic (does not absorb water)
PrimaSELECT PETG is a hydrophobic material (does not absorb water). Your 3D prints made with this filament will have a shiny and smooth surface. They are suitable for a variety of indoor and outdoor applications.
PETG = PET + Glycol
PrimaSELECT PETG is a glycol-modified PET. This treatment gives it even greater transparency, rigidity and toughness than conventional PET. These properties make PETG ideal for artistic and technical applications.
Extraordinarily powerful colors
Be inspired and enchanted by the extraordinarily powerful colors of your 3D prints with PETG filament.
Translucent 3D prints in vase mode
Use PrimaSELECT PETG regardless of your FDM/FFF 3D printer and application. Make beautiful 3D prints and use “vase mode” to produce additively with over 90% light transmission.
The material has no odor and is approved for contact with food
This PETG material gives off almost no odor during processing. Another great benefit of PrimaSELECT PETG Clear is that it is FDA approved for food contact.
Tips for 3D printing with PETG
Test 3D printing speed and temperature to achieve different results in terms of surface finish and transparency.
PETG filament with good layer adhesion and low print bed temperature
PrimaSELECT PETG has excellent adhesion between layers. This filament is easy to work with. If possible, we recommend using a build bed temperature of around 45-60°C.
Optimal adhesion to the bed via BuildTak and glass sheets with adhesives
PrimaSELECT PETG adheres to BuildTak or glass sheets with adhesives (glue or spray). After 3D printing, the easiest way to remove it is with a special 3D printing spatula.
Delivered in a sturdy, airtight box
PrimaSELECT PETG comes on a clear spool with 750g or 2.3kg of high quality filament. It is housed in a sturdy box and packed with dehumidifier to minimize humidity.
PrimaSELECT PETG - 1.75, 2.85 mm and 750 g, 2.3 kg and sample material
PrimaSELECT PETG is available in 1.75mm and 2.85mm diameter sizes. Buy a sample or spool of 750g or 2.3kg rolls.
